My cat is losing alot of hair and I think her skin is turning black
Post Body

So I got my cat from a lady who couldn't keep her no more. I've had her for close to 3 years and I believe she is about 4 or 5 years old. In October I took her to the vet for loss of appetite and losing lots of weight. They said she had a flea/tick born virus. After her antibiotics she started eating again but for the past week she's been losing hair behind her ear and it looks like the skin is turning black. I had noticed a small scratch when the hair was first being lost but thought she had scratched herself a little too hard or something. I'm just wondering If there's possibly a life threatening condition or if it's just an environment related issue. If it is some sort of disease what could it possibly be? I can provide photos a little bit later whenever I get home from work
