My dog has pancreatitis are raw hide treats okay?
Post Body
Hi everyone, my boxer has pancreatitis and he’s on a pretty strict low fat diet. He is on the prescription Hills Science Diet ID low fat. I’ve been curious if raw hide treats are okay for him? On the back of the packages it said minimum crude fat 1%, and the fat content on his food says minimum crude fat 5%. My layman’s reading of this would assume the raw hide should then be okay since it’s less fat than his food but wanted to double check. Thank you so much!
