I have a dog named Kai. she's an almost 3 year old yellow lab who is fully spayed. we don't know if she's fully yellow lab as she's small (around 45lb) and has a singular black spot on her side but I don't know if that's important. she's obsessively scratching this same ear over and over then licking the foot she's been scratching it with for a couple days now (3-4) this getting more frequent. it's getting to the point where she's yelping in pain. I can't get a good look in the ear as she won't let me touch it. I know I need to go to the vet, however it's the weekend and my parents who are the ones who own her have been reluctant to schedule an appointment. I'm 99% sure it's an ear infection. right now she's scratching a bunch and crying when she does then every once in a while she shakes her head. I'm going to find a way to get her to the vet but what can I do to make her more comfortable until then? I'm in NC but don't feel comfortable sharing specifics
