My cat (cca 2 year old, female, domestic shorthair, spayed, indoor) just threw up a large hairball (see photo). In early April she threw up one (not as big) and it irritated her so she was vomiting some more. I took her to the vet who said she is ok and to get her Hills dry food for hariballs in indoor cats. Since then up to two weeks ago, no hairballs at all (usually she did once a fortnight). Two weeks ago she threw up a huge one and just now the biggest one yet.
She seems fine otherwise, her usually playful, funny self. Is there something else apart from food I should be doing to help her?
