Hello, I’m a new vegan. My husband is about 90% plant based for health reasons but I decided to make the switch to 100% vegan in support and bc it’s been something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time for ethical reasons. Anyway- his family is not vegan and offer no plant based options at all when we are invited over to dinner events. It kind of bothers me. They don’t even ask if they can make something different for me. If I don’t show up with my own food then I basically don’t eat. I have another family member that has celiacs and they make a whole other meal for his person. Should I be upset? How do I navigate this? I don’t mind bringing my own stuff bc I trust it’s made the right way but it’s bothering me
