Do couriers get paid per delivery?
Post Body

I need to send a parcel to my family, in the arse end of nowhere. The most convenient way for me to do it is to use Hermes, as there's a drop-off just down the road, but it occurred to me that if their drivers get paid per delivery, it's really shitty for the one who gets landed with a very rural address - I'd rather use Royal Mail, despite it being less convenient and more expensive, than put some poor courier on a long route for little reward.
