How do you pronounce 'envelope'?

I got told off the other day for saying 'ONvelope.'
I know no different!
ENvelope sounds a bit weird in my head, although I am sure I have said it. I pronounce scone both ways, so perhaps I'm just a bit weird or pick up other people's speaking habits too easily.
