So, this happened.

Whilst I'm obviously wary of taking advice from strangers on the internet and from friends, I'm quite keen to go down the right path in order to get the medical treatment that I need; or at least to do the right things to get the right tests in order to get a corrrect diagnosis in the first place.

I really, really like my doctors, but I'm concerned they're really uninformed when it comes to allergies.

Also, I'd prefer not to die by 'try it and see' methods!

Thank you for any advice you can offer; I'm not looking for medical advice as such, more the correct route to visit via the NHS.

I cannot currently afford to spend a fortune getting allergy tested at Holland & Barratt or similar.
