Post Body

I do not regard my family members as my friends.

I don't have many things common with them so talking to them is just small talk..

I only go out with them because I have to sometimes. At family events like birthday dinners, I don't talk much as there's nothing much to talk about.

I'd rather go out to dinner by myself than spend it with my family.

My father and I only really have comic books in common but he's a casual fan, he doesn't care about keeping up with anything so talking to him about it seems pointless.

We go and see comic book films and sometimes watch comic book TV shows.

My mother and I don't have anything in common so we only have small talk.

My sister and I only have baking in common but we don't ever talk about it or bake together.

I have another sister who I have things in common with but I do not converse with her as she hurt me in the past.

My father keeps on wanting to do other things than seeing films together but I'm okay with what we do as he and I aren't friends, if I wanted to do something I'd have my friends for that.

My mother wanted to go to Liverpool with me as my friends weren't able to go but I told her I didn't want to go with her.

I do care about them but I just don't see them as my friends, the idea of spending any time with them doesn't interest me at all.

They're nice people for the most part but if it wasn't for the fact that I'm related to them I wouldn't converse with them.

They're more or less just acquittances that I am related to.

I don't think they're boring we just don't have anything really to talk about so spending time with them is pointless.

Do you have a friendship with your family members?
