How would you portion up a 1.5kg beef joint?
Post Body

!!! Edit: thanks all. I'll slice off a good chunk for the slow cooker, steak the rest, and likely use some of that to make a decent beef rendang at some point.

I live alone, but like to bulk buy meat to freeze when I see it pretty cheap. Got a decent size beef roasting joint, and while I could admirably attempt to eat the whole thing in one sitting I think it's best to portion it out.

I'm thinking to cut off a decent chunk to slow cook for my dinner later. Should I thick slice the rest into "steaks", or dice it for casseroles? I usually buy pork or chicken, and this is my first instance of portioning beef.
