On the back of a post last month about bands in their prime, which band or soloist absolutely shattered your illusions about them?

Post Body

I'll start with Mr Van Morisson, got tickets for my wife, she'd always wanted to see him so off to Sheffield City Hall, nice venue, relatively close. What an ignorant twat, no chat with the crowd at all, nothing, no thanks , nice to be here, nothing. He fucked off at the end and the band started putting their kit away. "There must be an encore?" Sez the wife, "not without the band there isn't." Sez i. Toodles sheffield, he was probably back in his hotel by the time we'd got to our car. Expected a little more from him, just a nod, acknowledgment that people had turned out, anything at all, no. Never again.

Saw him in that Brian Johnson (AC/DC) documentary. Really down to earth guy.

Well shit, never even knew he was a singer/musician until this comment.

Now I feel bad making fun of him when he started singing on the Sopranos.
