Would you have preferred a Lib Lab coalition?
Post Body

First off, I'm not sure if this is exactly what /r/askuk is about - general questions are like "What's so good about marmite" whereas this question is more something you'd find in /r/askreddit. I'll remove this question if there's a huge outcry.

So, a llt of people don't seem very happy with the ConDem coalition, and it's easy to see why. My question is do you think a LibLab coalition would've worked any better? My 2 pence is that it would because Conservatives and LibDems are such polar opposites that instead of a unified approach, you get some left policies and some right policies with nothing in the middle. With a LibLab coalition you could've got more policies in the middle.
