How do I deal with a Landlord not Carrying out Repairs?
Post Body

Update: Thank you for all the help! Landlord finally agreed to carry out the repairs.

My fridge hasn't been properly cooling for a month or so now but I wasn't sure of it until multiple food items started spoiling two weeks before the spoil date in the fridge.

I had the landlord come over to check it out and she did check it with a thermometer (which read a very high temp for a fridge), but she proceeded to make up excuses such as "Fridges in the UK don't work that great in the summer" and when I pointed out the thermometer as proof, she attempted to dismiss it by saying her thermometer is not working properly. She also proceeded to touch only the metal canisters in the fridge and said that was "proof" for the fridge cooking enough.

She then took pictures of just the ice cubes I had in the fridge as "proof" without taking pictures of the thermometer.

I was persistent however with the fridge not working and managed to convince her to send another thermometer and that I'll check the temperature (as she is going away), but she hasn't sent it and isn't responding.

I'm having to throw away food multiple times and it's a huge waste especially as I am a student. I'd really appreciate any advice with this.

[Based in Scotland for context.]
