Hello, firstly thank you for looking at my post and thank you further to those who comment helping me.

My family and I are looking to take a long weekend style break in the coming months, something like 3 nights away.

I'm hoping to receive some suggestions for areas/destinations to visit. As a family we aren't looking for any nightlife etc.

Our family consists of X2 adults who are late 20's and X1 child under 2 years of age.

We are based in North Buckinghamshire on the border of South Northamptonshire andWest Bedfordshire.

Looking to travel by car with a rough time limit of 2 hours driving if possible. Or by train if not too long or complicated with changes etc.

We are open to city breaks, shopping, countryside and other reasons to choose from suggestions. For example in the past we have spent a longer trip to Chester which we loved and would love to visit York but on a shorter trip of 3 nights we would rather somewhere slightly closer to home.
