any folks here who have been diagnosed with heart problems?

I'm a British-Desi gal, just approaching the tail end of my forties, and I've recently started experiencing some symptoms like heart palpitations and shortness of breath, and it's definitely alarmed me.
I still excercise, go on walks, do yoga and this is definitely a bit concerning to me. I've got an appointment with a cardiologist soon, so I'll definitely update this thread.
But I was just curious if there's any folks who have experienced these symptoms and also been diagnosed with heart disease.
