My thoughts and feelings about Rush, and how his life impacted me and the country.
Post Body

It is a sad day for people who love America, a true American patriot has passed. I have listened to Rush since the early 90's. I have spent today thinking about all the things that I am grateful to Rush for. He has stood as a beacon and shining example of a patriot, a man not afraid to speak his mind, a defender of truth, justice and the American way. It is a terrible blow to our entire country. I hate seeing so many of the Libtards using his death as some form of celebration. It is sick, they have posted flat out lies about things that were on his show, which I find ridiculous as as they never listened to the show .

How these people have no decency or respect for a man who fought cancer until his last breath. How they can act as if they "know" what his show contained. Rush was an intelligent, honorable and decent man, and how people can say the things they are only goes to prove that they possess none of those qualities. It breaks my heart to see how nasty the left continues to grow. It is possible to disagree with everything someone says and stands for yet still show respect for a fellow human being. I have little doubt that if someone had posted nasty comments when RGB passed away, it would not have been tolerated by conservative's. I get no joy from the death of a human being, no matter if we agree or are bitter rivals. We should be celebrating the mans life and mourn his passing.

Be proud that he fought for each day of life, and continued to work and provide the countless hours of hard work as he fought cancer. He chose to continue to give to America, even as he knew his days were numbered. I am sure it would have been difficult not to spend that time with friends and family. To enjoy the last bit of life surrounded by those who loved and cared about him. He choose to spend it with his other family, all of us. Even the people who hate him simply because he does not believe the same as they do. Rush was the epitome of an American and was the embodiment of a truly noble soul. It is up to all of us now, up to us to continue what rush did for decade after decade. We must continue to stand up for this country, defend the constitution, be a beacon of light and wisdom to the world. I am sure that this will be downvoted by those who are happy he is dead, I dont quite understand why, especially when posts celebrating that he is dead are given awards. Its sick, how have we reached a point that it is ok to disrespect people simply because they have a different point of view. It has become impossible to even bridge a discussion. It breaks my heart.

I love this country, I served this country until I was unable to do so anymore, and if my body was able I would be serving it right now. Is this country perfect, no of course not, but I will always attempt to bring out all the amazing things that make this country special and amazing. Rush embodied so many of the positive aspects of our great nation. He used his gifts to inform and share important aspects of our nation to millions upon millions of people. He worked hard everyday, and built a media empire that both taught and entertained. There are of course things that I did not agree with him on, but without our difference there is little point have any opinions at all. I am saddened that I will never get a chance to meet him, shake his hand and thank him for all he has done. I suppose I will have to settle with this post.

To those of you who read it thank you, I hope you found it worth your time. In conclusion I challenge those of you who had there lives touched by Rush to send a letter to his family, let them know how much he was loved. Let them know that the people who revel in his death are a sick minority, who are simply jealous of the millions of lives that Rush made better on a daily basis. Here is the address for sending cards and well wishes to the family, I encourage everyone to take a moment and send a note or card to show your support in this difficult time, I am sure the family would appreciate it .
