So, I posted this initially on the main reddit, since I didn't know this was a place. however, this seems to be a more likely place to get some opinions.
Recent comments have put McMasters on his way out as the National Security Adviser. While it would not surprise me, I also know that rumors were that both Tillerson and Kelly would also be gone months ago, and yet they are still in their positions.
The real question I have is the rumors of the potential "short list" of individuals that would replace McMasters if he were to leave the position. One of them is John Bolton. There were reports today that Bolton was at the White House. Now, that report comes from one Twitter account, with no corroborating statements, and no statements from the White House, so I don't know whether to confirm it or not. Looking at Trump's schedule, he had a rather long day with the Prime Minister of Sweden.
So my question is, if any of these rumors are legit, what would you think of John Bolton taking over as National Security Adviser? Would you support it? Or would you rather hope that Trump would select differently?
