Reviving a 15 year old laptop. Is an SSD the best option?
Post Body

My apologies, I'm pretty much illiterate when it comes to technology But I'm basically trying to give new life to my Asus laptop. The model is K60ij And I believe it's about 15 years old. I've been trying to use it lately, and it is extremely slow, like literally takes minutes to do any tasks. Before I send it to the crusher, I'm just wondering if there's a way to make it work even a little faster. I was reading some older posts, and people say an SSD is pretty much the only way to go. Is this still the case? Is there anything else I can do to make it run faster?

I'm currently using Windows 10, although I'm not sure if Windows 10 made it run slower or faster.
