I'm currently in meds school and despite my best efforts I just can't note down everything my professors say and even manually transcribing what they say afterwards is very time consuming and frankly impossible with my schedule - around 8 hours of lecture per day 5 days a week.
I'm just trying to find a piece of tech that is not bulky ( so people don't bother me about it and I can carry it everywhere ), that takes audio in ( probably with more than one speaker if I'm being honest) and transcribes it. If it could summerize as well later it would sure be handy. But if I just get the transcribed áudio and then later have to feed it ChatGPT or whatever it's fine.
Honestly I've seen Plaud Note and I thought it was amazing but then I saw the subscription fees and the prices. I really can't afford that kind of stuff rn. Even without the money conversion from US dollars to my currency its already expensive!
Does anyone have any suggestions? If you can tell me if they have a subscription fee as well ( like Plaud) or the battery life and possibly storage that would be great!
I'm really lost searching for this kind of stuff. I only saw something called like Chime Note or something that was similar but it was a startup so I'm not really confident on them.
