The UAE's National AI Strategy 2031 shows an ambitious vision for it to be at the forefront of AI globally by applying AI in various industries to develop socio-economic status. For a country in that position, appointing the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence in 2017 and starting Smart Dubai would clearly reflect its future-oriented nature as was the case with UAE creating the first ever Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence two years ago, and launching Smart Dubai at the Dubai Future Foundation. These efforts aim to transform Dubai into a model smart city, leveraging AI for efficient governance and enhanced quality of life. Artificial Intelligence is picking up speed with the GenAI technology being adopted at very high rates; the UAE is among the first countries leading this revolution. Such steps as having Falcon 2 launched that is likely surpass major firms namely Meta and OpenAI prove this position further thereby illustrating how determined they are in regards to adoption innovative systems everywhere.
