Build a vmware server environement
Post Body

Hello everyone,

I have a new project, I want to transform my computer into a multiple server.

I think about installing VMware server to be able to have a couple of virtual server and machine.

The main server would run windows server 12/08 , and use as web server, file server and maybe build a domain with this server and a second one.

Have 1 machine that I can use from another computer.

And maybe 1 test environments with his own machine server

So, there come my questions : The os of the physical machine would be better to be a simple windows 7/8, a windows server , or linux ?

And that's the hardware configuration of the computer :

I7 860 2.8Ghz 4Go ram 3To HDD Radeon 5850

I think that I need to upgrade the ram to 8go or 16go and I don't know about the processor

What do you think ?

Cheerfully fumg (sorry for my english as well)
