Is this normal for a former teacher to do?
Post Body

So my former teacher asked to meet up for coffee. Just for reference I am a minor and she is way older than me. Is this considered okay or no?

Edit: to clarify I did reach out to her first but I never asked her to meet up. She asked me that first

Comments

I had concerned teachers do this for me. My home life wasn't so great, mostly was homeless from 15 on, so teachers met up with me, bought me food, asked me how I was doing etc. Some gave me bus passes to get to school and such, told me to call if I needed anything. Most of these concerned teachers I remember were female. However there were also male teachers who acted inappropriately with me and other students. So take care to consider these factors in deciding if this is a concerned adult or a creep
