Determining overall probability?

First, I apologize if this is a really basic question, but:
If I had, say, a test with [X] multiple choice questions, and each question had the same number of possible answers, so that the probability of just randomly guessing the correct answer were p(n) for each question: would the probability of correctly guessing each answer be represented by p(n)X?
