I want to use Kaplan-Meier survival curves.

I will be comparing people with neurodevelopmental vs without neurodevelopmental conditions in mental health units.

The event of interest will be “survival” after admission until being restrained in mental health units.

I think that our people with ASD ADHD and Intellectual Disability are getting restrained faster.

Analysis of this is my day job.

I would like to do an a priori power calculation.

I therefore seek recommendation of an authoritative text which lays this technique out at under graduate or post graduate level please. So I know what I am doing.

I am very sorry that I asked this question before in a distractingly silly way. At that time I also asked that the theoretical text discussing survival regressions and their power be humorous.
