[The Ring] If someone watched the videotape, and for the next week lived in a remote place far from any technology, would Samara still be able to kill them?

Post Body

I'm assuming that she can come out of technology, mostly radios and TV's. I already know she comes out of a TV, and I'm assuming radios as well because one of the young men she killed at the beginning (the group that watched the tape at the cabin) was killed in a car crash (or maybe he had a TV in his car? I dunno).

So if someone was to go live in the mountains for a week or so (probably longer) without ANYTHING tech-based (no cellphones, no TV, no radio, no landlines, etc.) would she still be able to murder them?

Would she wait until they were around technology/TV's and then spring out to kill them, regardless of the timeline? Would the curse be broken? Would she find some other way to kill them? Or could the person, theoretically, go primitive and live in complete isolation from modern conveniences and never be killed?
