Sweden, right now as it currently exists is a constitutional monarchy with a figurehead King/Queen and according to Helldivers 2 lore; Sweden was the country that unified Earth and eventually formed Super Earth as we see today. A remnant exists of this legacy where the 'Prime' capital of Super Earth (Prosperity City) is located where Stockholm would be.

But this begs the question, whatever happened to Swedish monarchy aka the House of Bernadotte? Is Super Earth still a (nominally) constitutional monarchy?

Is there a Super Earth Royal Family?

After all, Sweden (and other Western/Northern European constitutional monarchies) is one of the most democratic countries out there IRL... So clearly Managed Democracy™️ and monarchism are not mutually exclusive.

As far as I played with 100 hours in the game based on flavor text from missions and cosmetics; I've never seen the word 'Republic' mentioned once...
