One of the most confusing things in Episode VI, was when Jabba the Hutt dressed Leia in a sexy metal bikini and chained her to him. He even said creepily âSoon you will learn to appreciate meâ. Forget the fact that Jabba didnât have a phallus, how in the galaxy would he find a bipedal humanoid to be sexually attractive? It doesnât make any sense.
In Legends, it was explained away that Hutts were hermaphrodites and Jabba viewed Leia like that of a beautiful work of art that he wanted to put on display in the same way I think a Rembrandt painting is beautiful (but I donât want to copulate with it).
In Canon, Hutts were given male and female genders and it was said by some source that Jabbaâs obsession with scantily clad humanoid women was unusual and disturbing among his peers, implying that Jabba was some kind of sexual deviant like a pedophile or zoophile.
This should be my answer but it doesnât really settle it for me. Jabba has completely different sex organs (if any) than a human and it is almost impossible that he would find her alluring.
