We know that if a bender took some inspiration from another form of bending martial arts, it can make him more powerful

Like how Iroh and Zuko does it from other style, a little bit of waterbending to help their lightning bending

But my question is, what if a firebender COMPLETELY uses the martial arts style of a waterbender, and vice versa,

A firebenders style is Northern Shaolin, a water bender uses Tai Chi, so if both sides switches martial arts, what happens

Do the move still work or it won't?
