How likely is it that covid mutates further?

I know that viruses mutate and sometimes combine. So how likely is it that covid mutates with viruses already circulating? Is it possible that is could combine with Marburg virus or ebola? Is it possible that it could combine with diseases that are only really prevalent in certain places and make them more deadly?
