Is the inner sunset (around 6th and judah/kirkham area) colder than places like inner richmond directly north of it? I'm looking for a peaceful part of town to move to and want to know about pros and cons. My ideal is Noe Valley but I work downtown so the appeal of the N is better than walking to BART from Noe. Everyone tells me sunset is far from everything but frankly, I'm sick of the riff raff, dirt, air pollution, and danger of the east side of town, but I have a job that's definitely still tying me to living in the city (in addition to dating, etc).
