My friends and I get together for volleyball every now and again and would like to try out the Eureka Valley Rec Center baseball diamond because it’s so much closer than McLaren Park.

Does anyone know if it’s open use? There seem to be people just chilling there or throwing a ball around a lot. Occasionally there’s a game going on, but I think mostly on weekends. The website is not much help unless I want to officially reserve it which I’m not looking to do at this point.

Side Qs: are there any other nearby friends y’all would recommend? And if anyone wants to join, feel free to DM me, we’re a friendly bunch who’ve just gotten to know each other through mutual friends :)
