I'm [M 25] currently working and living in Downtown SF. I got invited by my co-worker on their place near the block party last Thursday. I had a lot of fun, and mostly only talked to my co-workers. Yet I noticed, I was a bit awkward with strangers. Took me a while to maneuver, but I got along with some.
I had a moment to observe from afar. In less than a minute it just hit me.
Crap, I don't have any strong connections outside of work. It felt that I was missing out.
I told this to my friend immediately. She suggested to ask here.
Most of the experiences I'm aware about were from books, media, and some random stories circling around the internet. But I never got the courage to try them myself.
Any activities, hobbies, groups, clubs or places that you recommend?
I'm an open-minded curious guy.
Thanks!
