So I was in the market for a new pair of shoes and decided to try a new brand since I have always ran in ASICS but heard great things from Hoka. Anyway, I found the shoes I wanted to try (stated in title) and when I purchase there was a disclaimer that the shoes ran a little small and you should go a half size up from your normal sizing. Well I got them in and now my heel has a small amount of movement in them so much so that if I wanted to or maybe a hard push off during use my foot/feet could slip out of the shoe. Realizing this I tried to use the heel lock when tying them but instantly realized I can only use that on a normal shoe with a โtongueโ these new shoes are more of a sock style. Question is: Any ideas on how to create better licked into the shoe feeling with these type of shoes from a way of tying them? Maybe Iโm missing something but any help would be appreciated.
