So I recently joined the world of retail work and have a question.
Post Body

So I recently got a part time job at Petsmart, and by recently I mean like 3 weeks ago. I made it clear when hired I need 20 to 25 hours a week, and no air of like no we can't do that was given. So my question stems from, I have worked all of one shift, not counting my two days of training. I've had no hours this past week, this coming week I have 10, the week after 12. As an important note I have no prior retail experience.

So my question is, is it a common thing for retail work places to kind of slowly bring someone without experience up to their desired hour amount as opposed to just being like bamn heres 20 hours.
