can i get a refund with a bank statement showing the transaction as proof?

Edit: just done ! In the uk this is pretty much a guaranteed yes.
back in november i brought some headphones, down from £130 to 30. in 5 months they have broke in a number of places and stopped working. i lost the receipte however on my transaction records of my bank i have the purchase recorded. it was the only item i bought, can i use that as proof of purchase?
