I always wonder what a clothing retail worker would prefer when it comes to trying on clothes and not wanting it: do you prefer if we just left it in the dressing room or try to fold it/hang it back on the racks, but it may not be 100% folded well/not correctly hanged. I feel bad in either scenario: I just leave clothes in the dressing room for an employee to clean it up like trash but also I don't wanna ruin the neatly folded piles or mess the racks by putting an improperly hanged shirt back. I also don't want to directly hand it over to an employee (unless Im at the register) because it would mean they'll have to stop what they're doing and put the clothing back where it's from. I used to work for a clothing retail but quit after 3 days because it wasn't for me and in those 3 days all I did was go-backs so I really never got the whole "retail worker stress" lol
