Hold long is too long?

I was looking into buying a cock ring just out of curiosity. I found a metal ring at work and I took it home with me. I kind of eyeballed itand see if it would fit on me and surely enough, maybe just a bit snug. But I was looking at somethat were made out of silicon and I had the though of how long could I wear it? I was kind of thinking of wearing it while I was at work just for a little excitement but I was worries about cutting off too much blood flow if it was on the majority of the day?
