Was your foreskin tight when you were younger?

Have recently discovered the technical term for a tight foreskin (phimosis) but in my late teens I have memories of not being able to fully retract my foreskin and over time (without really realising) I worked it back one day until it released. It was quite uncomfortable at the time and I remember 16 year old me thinking I'd broken something and 18 years on I was recently reminded of it and wondered if others experienced similar?

For reference I never had any follow on issues and ever since have and still can been able to full retract my foreskin.
