Anyone who was sure they were monogamous that opened things up after a long time together?
Post Body

I've been with my wife for almost 20 years. We still have a great sex life, always trying new things. But always strictly monogamous. I was cheated on by my first long lasting partner after 7 years, and I've always felt extremely monogamous and that sharing in any way would simply not be for me.

But after a few decades I am starting to see how someone might feel secure enough in their love that being physical with other people could potentially be fun and exciting.

Has anyone ever made that leap, where they were sure they were totally 100% monogamous, but then tried opening things up? Was it a mistake, was it a great decision, or was it just not for you? I would love to hear your stories, thoughts and experiences.
