Has anyone else dealt with something like this, or am I just being lied to?
To give you some context, I've been seeing this wonderful woman, but we have an open relationship. I don't know the full details of her relationship with other guy, but there are some things she's told me that don't quite add up.
Every time she visits him at his apartment, she says she's required to strip down, put all her clothes in a basket for washing, and place her phone in a separate basket so he can clean it. After that, she has to shower and change into clothes she brings with her. She explains that he has severe diabetes, which makes him highly susceptible to illness, so these precautions are necessary.
But here’s where things don’t sit right with me. She tells me that he’s so paranoid about contamination that she isn't really allowed to do anything without him giving his say so. For example like helping out with cooking or getting water to drink, he has to do all of it. However, this guy also works a regular 9-to-5 job, interacting with people at the office every day, and everything there seems fine. But he doesn't require his friends to do the same when they visit his apartment?
This story sounds so surreal, I have never met anyone like that. Is this a lie or truth?
