ARAD, tell me of those one-night stands where you could have fallen for the person (or probably did fall.) What made it perfect?

I'm feeling slightly melancholic this evening, so here is mine.

I was traveling and did some Tinder talking with a gorgeous man -- right amount of nerdy (his job is in IT) and my type (looks and personality-wise; blonde and a bit shy). He was also older by three years. We decided to meet for dinner after my sightseeing was done. We talked about my crazy travel situation (I had come to Ireland to escort my baby brother on his first international flight) and my crazier job duties while abroad (overseeing my first PhD student on her qualifying exams while drafting an NSF study timeline.) After dinner, we went to a bar but he was still being very polite and not making a move. (Irish men had not failed me until that moment and I would be damned if this would be that time.) I turned up the charm by "accidentally" showing him that I was wearing thigh highs and garters. When went outside that is where he finally kissed me -- in front of the Molly Malone's statue, which he then made me grab by her bronze boob. We went to a few more bars to kiss and drink. On our last stop, a girl flirted with me in front of him and I almost wanted to propose a threesome but I was feeling possessive. When we finally fucked, we stayed up until five, alternating between rough and tender. Woke at 10 to fuck even more, even though we were so hungry and slightly hungover. I had to ask for late check out because each time he was ready to get dressed I would tempt him to come back into bed with me.

The next day I flew back home; NYC, UWS, to be exact. While on line to get through customs, I started bawling my eyes out. If your girl was not visiting, she would have tried her best to make this a sure thing.

Moral: A perfect one night stand might hurt you in the end.
