I've always considered myself to be an exhibitionist, but have recently realised that it's different depending on the context.

In person if I'm showing off (eg. exclusively to my wife now, or when I was younger at sex parties, clubs, drunken skinny dipping, etc.) it's entirely sexual - I love people watching me.

However when I'm posting online it's not really sexual at all, I don't get off on it, it just makes me feel content, and is a nice confidence boost (normally), but I don't even really mind if the attention is negative.

Is there multiple flavours of exhibitionism, or is one of these two things something completely different?
