I am only asking because I see people talking about the negative side effects/problems/painful insertions of other forms. Not judging the choices just curious why choose it over something simple and easy like condoms and things that have gone away like diaphragms. (Can’t imagine those will ever come back but once upon a time they were common)
I’ve only had sex once and while I’m well aware I should’ve I didn’t wear a condom. I was buzzed and she was on birth control, just didn’t make the right call.
That being said it doesn’t seem that crazy to me to use condoms. I do keep some by my bed even not getting lucky very often just didn’t expect to hook up at a party. To me it seems like something any sexually active adult can keep on hand.
Unless it’s that much worse while wearing one? Again I’ve had sex once so I’m not pretending to be an expert or asserting my opinion I’m just curious to hear from people who do actually know what they’re doing. Like the next time I have sex I will use a condom, maybe I’ll hate it.
IUD for birth control. Condoms are in addition if I don’t know the person that well.
