Let's assume you aren't right next to each other, like if one of you goes up to the bar to grab drinks, and the other one stays at the table. What do you do if you see someone come up and start flirting with your SO?
Not just how would you feel, but what would you do? Would you immediately approach? Would you give it some time and distance and just watch?
