Would it be more/less emotionally damaging to find out the person you like/love had sex with/without a condom? Or would it be the same?

There's a scenario where it could be cheating, and also a scenario where you like someone but that person doesn't like you back. Would it be more or the same? In your opinion, I mostly want to get opinions on the "doesn't like back" but I want to hear both.
