Nothing else untoward or inappropriate. Just generally, you know or suspect that you get a lot more attention from the boss - and eventually a promotion - because the boss is really attracted to you.

My wife is in this position right now. Her boss is a bit of a dirty old man - we know this based on some of the things this guy does publicly online. We know what he's into. Anyway, she's always going to lunch with him and the assistant manager, another older guy, and getting asked to end the workday early to join them for drinks. This is great for her. She gets really preferential treatment. Doesn't work that hard. Absolutely nothing else inappropriate has happened, and I know she makes it clear that's the case. They've definitely made some comments about her attractiveness, but she's shut it down from going further. They're about twice her age, out of shape, etc. But we're sure that they give her special treatment because it's pretty great to have such a good view all the time.

Anyway, at this point, she's been promoted over some longer tenured employees who are not happy about it. Thoughts?
