how do I talk to and attract older men at bars?

Iām 21 and absolutely love older men and was thinking of going to a beer bar alone and dressing in a cute but classic outfit and meet someone. but I have absolutely no idea how to strike up a conversation with one, is it acceptable to go up to a man sitting alone? will they come up to me? how can I make myself look open to receiving attention from them?
