There are many types of swimsuits. Normally, swimsuits are modest and prudish pieces, but just as there are a variety of bikinis (with different names, especially the more cheeky ones, e.g.: thongs, string, micro, fullback, etc.), the same goes for swimsuits? Would the term "thong one piece" be the general name for this type of bikini or are there more varieties around the world?

In Brazil, the type of swimsuit that combines a fitted swimsuit with a bottom thong is nicknamed a "maiô engana-mamãe" (brazilian portuguese), in free translation something like: "deceive-mama swimsuit".
