When you research a vasectomy, one of the claims is that "Your semen quality, amount, and texture won't change noticeably after a vasectomy. "
My personal experience is that's not quite true. First off, the way semen's thickness changes after ejaculation is no longer there. For lack of a better word, I'll use the term "regular semen" for pre snip. With regular semen, it thickens short after release and then gets thin later. Post vasectomy this doesn't happen. It is the same, thinner than before and stays that way. One of the things that happens is it comes back out easier. Both sooner and more noticable. So the texture part is wrong, at least for me.
As far as the "quality" I don't know what that means....
No noticable change in volume.
What wasn't mentioned there is the taste. HUGE change there. It no longer is distinctly "semeny" and is more like any other mucus. The bitter is gone. I am ambivalent in this regard, but for some it might be a big deal.
