I don't mean like a one-off "I sent a dude a picture of my junk thinking it was a woman" kind of thing, but like a situation where somebody fooled you into thinking they were somebody they weren't for an extended period of time.

When I was about 21 (Before "catfish" was even a term) I got into a long distance "relationship" with a girl I met online for about 6 months. We'd talk on the phone all the time, we'd send each other gifts. Come to find out she was stealing someone's pics and wasn't at all who she said she was.
